    About Charlotte Hewer

Hi I'm Charlotte. I've been competing in triathlon for about 6 years - initially it was a bit of fun with friends, but the more finish lines I crossed the more I wanted to keep going.  I’ve now completed a sprint distance all the way up to the ultimate ironman and did so in the space of 2 years. I’ve completed numerous half marathons and 2 full marathons as well as 10k and 5k races;  I've done dirt runs, fun runs and a number of swimming and cycling events too.

    About Wayne Smith

Hi all, I'm Wayne and I've been sharing my time between my wife, three young boys and running now since 2011/12. It all started back when I got a charity place to run the London Marathon, I went on to just about complete the marathon with relatively little training but on the way managed to raise over £5000 for the charity Tommy's. Since then I have turned my back on the roads and concentrate all of my time on the local trails, these days 'If there's not a steep climb I'm not interested!'.
I've completed all race distances from 5k to Marathon and I'm currently in training for my first of two Ultra's this year. I'm looking to now also focus some time on developing other peoples running techniques and passing on some of the many things I have learnt along my journey

    About Nina Finch

Hi I'm Nina and started running when I was in primary school (such a long time ago now). I moved to Worcestershire 5 years ago and have been lucky enough to meet a lot of like minded people who share my love for the outdoors. I've taken part in a wide range of events over the years from lots of 10km races for charity, 1 half marathon, 3 Tough Mudders, 5 Wolf Runs, numerous mountain bike endurance races and a number of military endurance events - most of which involved racing while carrying 35+lbs over the Brecon Beacons. I also have a passion for hiking and spend lots of time in Snowdonia. I've been lucky enough to travel to Nepal mountain biking and climbing, although I don't think I'll be summiting Everest any time soon. [···]

    About Phil Hunt

Hi I’m Phil, a family man with a passion for sport! I have been racing in cycling and most specifically on the tandem with my cousin, for a number of years, but I'm relatively new to triathlon - especially the swimming! My wife got involved with Tri Energy through their popular running courses and now enjoys her sport far more than she ever thought she would, and I'm hoping that when my 2 children are old enough they'll come along to the Tri  Energy Kids Sessions ~ I think they'll love it!  [···]

    About Sam Anderson

Hi I’m Sam, a busy mum of 2 and I'm totally addicted to running! I first got into running when I was 6 years old and competed at school and the the county across 800m, 1500m and cross country.  I've done many other sports growing up but always come back to running as my first love! In my mid twenties I discovered triathlon and raced all over the world winning European and National Titles. I took a break from running in 2015 to have my son and put on 5 stone in the pregnancy so making a comeback was tough; but not impossible. With a bit of hard work I topped the podium of my first triathlon back. In 2018 I had my second child and have started the journey back to fitness again. My lifetime 5k PB (18:43) seems a distant memory but I'd like to be that fast again one day and I am constantly inspired by the drive and motivation of those people who I coach.  [···]

    About Katrina Marks

Hi  I'm Katrina. I started running in 2010 when I entered a Cancer Research 5k race for life. I'll admit at this point in my life I was a 20+ a day smoker and I felt completely ashamed because I had to walk it. This was my turning point! I quit smoking and took up running!

I had to take baby steps to start, building up to 1 mile, but then continued running with friends who talked me into entering the Wyre Forest British Heart Foundation 10k and that was it - after that I was completely hooked! I also discovered my love of Mud Obstacle Runs and going to the gym and I've since gone on to compete in half marathons.
