Welcome to Tri Energy RunFit!

Welcome to Tri Energy Run Fit, a friendly and supportive running group for all abilities. Our goal is to help others and pass on our encouragement and guidance so that other runners can progress on their own running journeys and achieve their own goals. Our coaches have a wide range of experiences and coaching qualifications under their belts and we’d be delighted to help inspire you and find your love for running!

The first RunFit course was held in July 2016 and we welcomed 24 ladies. Seeing their progress over the weeks from not being able to run for 60 seconds, to completing 5km races was amazing. We all well and truly had the buzz! The next RunFit course then saw over 60 people sign up (welcoming more gents too!) and we also held a RunFitter course for those who could already run 5km but wanted to run faster or build to 10km.

Fast forward less than 3 years and we now have 3 groups: Run Fit, Next Steps and RunFitter – all professionally coached with an amazing, supportive atmoshphere. Sessions are held in Stourport on Severn, Tenbury Wells and Wyre Forest but the running journey doesn’t stop there – we have a Strava Group, Closed Facebook Group for daily support and motivation, and send weekly emails with homework!

It's as easy as...

1. RunFit

This is a 10 week progressive course, taking our new runners through a structured training plan which steadily increases the amount of time running, with regular walk breaks in between. These sessions are always led by qualified coaches and there is always a tail runner when you’re out and about ensuring no one is left behind. No runner is too slow for this group.

2. Next Steps

For those who can run 5km but still not feeling too comfortable with the distance, or would like to run it a little faster – the next steps group is perfect. This is a steady step up from the RunFit group and includes a nice mix of timed runs and intervals to help improve run fitness.

3. Run Fitter

The RunFitter group, previously known as our improvers group, is a great way for the more competitive runners to really hone in on their speed and endurance. We mix a variety of carefully planned sessions together to challenge our runners to keep improving towards their running goals.
